About Louise
Louise was drawn to TA's accessible concepts and the collaborative relationship it fosters between therapist and client. This approach can give clients transparency into therapeutic methods, enabling them to engage with and explore what resonates with them.
Working with adult clients, both in-person and online, based at New Road Psychotherapy in Hove, Louise's practice is increasingly socially informed. She understands psychological difficulty as shaped not only by early relational experience, but also by societal oppression and cultural messaging.
Louise is interested in helping clients move from feelings of alienation and self-blame towards recognising the wider systems that have impacted them. She continues to develop through ongoing study and reflection and is passionate about empowering individuals to recognise themselves and understand their own minds, leading to greater agency over their lives.
